Wizard of Oz Zombies

And here is my final zombiefied poster. The wizard of oz. One of the most trippy movies there is! FYI The bloody hand prints on Dorothy’s dress is from a munchkin villager.

I have gotten all the zombie posters printed out and ready, so hopefully I’ll sell a few of them on Saturday at Desucon Fantasy. Wish me luck! I’ll add a few pictures later on with the rest of the stuff I’m gonna sell as well.

Making zombie posters was a lot of fun, and I am sure I will draw more of them in the future. For now however, I think I’m gonna take a little break from zombies. So much else to draw! Like Barbarians 😀 But if you have a movie you desperately want to see zombiefied, let me know in the comments, and I will keep it in mind the next time I draw some zombies 🙂

Lord of the Rings Zombies

The Lord Of The Rings is my fourth zombification victim. Even though there are so many awesome characters in the books and movies, I decided to only draw the fellowship of the ring. Thought it also might be a bit difficult drawing ringwraiths and orcs as zombies, seeing how they already look quite dead :p

As I have mentioned before, I am making these posters for Desucon Fantasy. Desucon Fantasy is a con for everything fantasy, held in Oslo the 5th of April. Me and My friend Regine are putting up a stand there were we will be selling prints, postcards and other handcrafted stuff. Regine is a cosplay enthusiast, and an expert at crafting costume stuff. She is also making awesome masks! And I mean proper masks, not just painted cardboard box masks :p

You can look at some of the things we are bringing and read (If you know Norwegian) more about our stand here: Fredrik & Regine’s stæsj. You can save some money by buying your ticket before the 29th of March here. If you are going to Desucon Fantasy, let me know! Hope to see you there 🙂

Loads of Harry Potter zombies

And here is the third zombie movie poster! I love the Harry Potter books, and found it a lot of fun imagining them as zombies. I especially enjoyed drawing Umbridge. I hated her with a passion in the books, and thought it was awful that she managed to survive in the end. So I guess it was almost therapeutic to draw her with her head twisted around :p

On the actual poster, all of the zombies are standing next to each other, but seeing how all of them ended up looking really small on screen, I decided to put the zombies up one by one. I will probably upload a picture of the poster when it arrives from the print shop.

I hope I spelled all the names correct, or else I’m definitely gonna hear it at Desucon Fantasy :p

Let me know which one of the zombies are your favorite? I think mine are Dobby, Voldemort and the Dursleys 🙂

You can buy it as a poster here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/218370506/harry-potter-zombie-poster-a3?ref=shop_home_feat_4

Star Trek Zombies

Second zombified movie poster is no other than Star Trek! I have put up a few “work in progress” pictures from this on my Facebook page. So if you follow me there, I guess you knew this one was coming :p

Star Trek has taught me that if you want to die, wear a red shirt when traveling to space.

This is a tribute to all those brave redshirts.

Star Wars Zombies

I have been busy lately preparing for Desucon Fantasy 2014. Me and a friend are gonna put up a stand where we will be selling all sort of different things. So if you are attending Desucon Fantasy, don’t forget to say hi 🙂 I’ll probably put up more information about this later.

As you might have noticed, I have been sort of obsessed with zombies lately. And I am keeping this going by making a few zombiefied posters from famous movies. I will of course be selling these at Desucon Fantasy.

First movie out is Star Wars!

I got 4 more zombie movie posters coming, but I am not telling which movies yet 😉 You can probably figure out one of the other movies if you visit my facebook page. There are some pretty obvious hints there :p

PS: I think I have forgotten to mention that my online portfolio is up and running now. You can find it at www.fredrikeden.com. Take a look at let me know what you think 🙂
