I haven’t really had any time to celebrate Christmas this year because of uni work. Well, I am kinda in control on the other three projects, but the animation is time-consuming. But it is starting to look like something now at least, so I just might be able to go out an celebrate the new year with friends (I was actually thinking of celebrating it with my grandma at one point just to be able to do more work…)
I need to get back to work now, so I’m just gonna put in some backgrounds I’m using in the animation.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and If I don’t upload anything until next year, Have a happy new year!
So, every Wednesday since this term started, I have been drawing naked people. Some call it life-drawing, some call it drawing naked people. I only had about between 1-30 minutes on these so that is why some of them look a bit unfinished. I don’t mind it though. Find it quite fun to have to draw fast sometimes.
Other than the “How to put a head in to someones bed” book project, I am also working on an animation. The assignment for my animation was to play around with mixing animation and live action. So basically, I can do whatever I want for this one! The Title ended up being Magic Monkey Beans. And this is two of the creatures that will be in it.
I am currently working on making an artists book called “How to put a head into someones bed”. Which is supposed to be an instruction manual on how to place a decapitated head into someones bed while they are asleep. At first I wanted it to have a sort of art deco style to it. But now I am not so sure, being that most people seem to like my rough sketches more than the more finished ones. And I do kinda like my sketches too.
These are the more finished ones.
And this is the sketch.
Hmm… I think ill focus on some of the other projects for now, and come back to this one later.
So the illustration course at Middlesex has made its own special Christmas/advent calendar this year. Everyone drew one day each and I got the 8th of December. I decided to draw a lovely Christmas ho (ho ho).
I have no idea how her top manages to stay in place…
