One of my last assignments last year at uni, was to create a movie intro for Ruttinerte Kara. I haven’t gotten around to upload it before now. This is not the actual intro for Ruttinerte Kara and the logo has had some big changes since I made this short animation. My little brother made the soundtrack.
So the Illustration course on Middlesex is having an exhibition at the poetry cafe called “The haunts of the poets”, and both of my submissions got selected 🙂 So if you want to look at and maybe buy some cool illustrations, come to the Poetry Cafe at 22 Betterton street, Covent Garden, London from 1st-21st December.
I think It might be a while til the next time I decide to draw so many bricks…
My take courage drawing can also be seen here
This is a logo I made for Frode Graadahl’s newly started movie company called Ruttinerte Kara. You can find the facebook page for it here: Ruttinerte kara
and here are some earlier versions of it.
I also made a short intro animation with this logo for one of my uni projects which I might upload later.
So the first assignment this year was to illustrate three stories from the book Bloody Chamber and other stories by Angela Carter. Bloody Chamber, Puss-in-boots and Company of Wolves.
Not as happy with the end result as I would have liked to be, but I might redo them later.
“The agent from New York had called with such urgent business that he must leave as soon as the tide was low enough.”
“He made the beast with two backs with every harlot in the city, besides a number of good wifes…”
Company of wolves
“At night, the eyes of the wolfes shine like candle flames, yellowish, reddish…”
Last one is my favorite.
